Ihr habt ja sicherlich schon von diesem Aufruf gehört:
Hello Everyone!
As you all know, Westlife's new album "Turnaround" will be released
at
the end of November.
Westlife said in an interview that this album is either gonna keep them
going or it's gonna break them up.
The last thing we want to happen is Westlife breaking up right?
One of the main reasons the album sales are going down, is because lots
of people just download all the album tracks, and put them on their own
cd.
What's even worser : People download the songs, and put them on their
sites. What happens? Visitors of the sites download the songs, and put
them on their own cd aswell....
That is why I would like to ask everyone to NOT download any new songs
of the album, and especially not to put any of the songs on your
websites!
I understand you want to be the first ones to have the songs exclusive
on your sites, but what is more important to you? Westlife or your
site??
I would like to ask everyone of you to send this e-mail on to all the
fans you know, and to put this message on your websites/groups.
Let's make this another Number 1 album, and let's show the lads our
support!

Es will doch jeder, dass Westlife es mit dem neuen Album so hoch wie möglich
schaffen, oder? Ich denke aber nicht, dass es wirklich etwas damit zu tun hat,
ob man die Songs vorher aus dem Internet schon kennt oder nicht. Wenn man wirklich
Westlife Fan ist, dann kauft man auch die Single, oder das Album wenn es erscheint!
Daß ich Mandy jetzt runter genommen habe, liegt nicht daran, dass es diesen
Aufruf gibt! Ich habe von Anfang an geschrieben, dass er nicht lange auf der
Seite bleiben wird! Da es ja schließlich auch noch dieses neue Gesetz
gibt...
Klar denke ich dass dieser Aufruf oben auch der Wahrheit entspricht, aber ich
finde ihn ein wenig überzogen. Man kann doch Songs runterladen und sie
sich anhören. Das wäre doch vollkommen okay, solange man danach die
CD trotzdem noch kauft! Ich hatte nicht vor alle Songs des Albums hier hoch
zu laden, und ich jetzt werde ich es auch erst recht nicht machen, weil ich
denke, dass sich vielleicht ziemlich viele an diesen Aufruf halten und deshalb
auch keine Downloads brauchen und wollen. Also warum sollte ich mir die Arbeit
machen? Aber ich werde mir trotzdem Songs runterladen, und anhören, wenn
ich die Möglichkeit bekomme.
Aber ich werde mich auch diesem Aufruf anschließen, nichts hochladen,
auf jeden Fall das Album kaufen und darauf hoffen dass Westlife es diesmal wieder
auf die Nr.1 schaffen. (In Deutschland wäre Top 10 ja schon gut :P)
Ich hoffe ihr versteht, wie ich das meine und seid der selben, oder zumindest
ähnlicher Meinung wie ich.

Everybody wants Westlife to get the best position in the charts with the new
album! But I don't think it has something to do if you get the Songs from the
net before or not. If you are a real Westlife fan, you buy the singles and albums
always as soon as they are released!
I put Mandy down from my site, but I did not do it only because of this letter
above. As I first download the Song I told you I will put it down soon, cause
there is also the new law...
Okay, I think the letter also have truth in it but in some things he exaggerates.
You can download the songs and listen to them, you simply DO have to buy the
Album after that!! I never wanted to upload all the songs to my Homepage for
different reasons, but now I will surely not do it, cause I think many will
support what's in the letter and don't need or want the downloads. So I won't
have much work. But if I get the chance to hear the Westlife Songs before and
download them, I will do it! But I promise I will buy the album!
I will also support the letter, cause in many things I agree with it. I won't
upload any more songs, buy the album and I will hope for Westlife getting a
No.1 in UK (And hopefully Top Ten in Germany).
I hope you understand my opinion or at least feel a bit the same.
