~*TV HITS INTERVIEW -  WESTLIFES WICKED WHISPERS*~

The 'Loife's mad dad 'n' single lad spill all… go for it, Mark 'n' Bry

So lads, what's gonna be the biggest bit of 2003 for ya?

Mark: "The Greatest Hits tour in April and the new album."
Bry: "And a new baby!"

Is Molly ready for the competition?

Bry: "I suppose all kids get jealous when a new baby turns up, but she's a cool kid. Our friends have a daughter three weeks younger than her, and they get on fine when they stay with us."

It's still early, but can you tell us any plans for yer April tour?

Bry: "We haven't decided much yet, but it won't be in the round again. We'll do all the singles 'cause it's the greatest hits tour, but it'll be more than just us, some stolls and five dancers!"
Mark: "We've talked about a few ideas, and Kian's come up with three or four different stage plans already! We'll all sit down and talk through the best ideas soon, then start getting the whole thing properly."

And what about the album - what's next for Westlife musically?

Mark: "The Westlife sound is gonna stay the way it is. It'll be freshened up and new and it's gonna have a bit of sparkle to it. We're not suddenly gonna do heavy rock songs and R'n'B tunes, don't worry!"

So you're not gonna do a Justin and jump to The Neptunes remix bandwagon?

Mark: "No, I'll leave that to the Americans, and enjoy it when I hit the dancefloor! The thought of that would excite me but I don't think Westlife is the Neptunes or will ever be. Personally I'd love to work with them, but not right now."

And no plans to get Nelly in for a rap?!

Bry: "Ha-ha! No way! There's never gonna be a rap in a Westlife song!"

Is future more rock than R'n'B?

Bry: "I just think that's the way music's going. People are liking bands like The Calling, who are pop with a rockier edge."
Mark: "Personally, I love R'n'B, but it's not for us."

Whadda you listen to?

Mark: "Missy Elliot's new album's cool - I think her music's so clever. I've been listen to The Streets, Enya and The Cranberries - I'm liking old records at the mo. I have a little DJ seshes in my hotel room wherever I go!"

THE LADS' FUTURE PLANS…

2003 FOR BRYAN

"Bryan couldn't get any madder but he's hardly going out at all these days. He'll have another baby, so he's gonna be a big daddy, on the phone worrying about nappy changes and babysitters! I think Molly makes everyone broody, but I've no plans to have me own yet. I was always a bit scared of babies, thinking I'd drop 'em, but she's made me a bit more comfortable around kids." - Kian

2003 FOR SHANE

"Shane'll never change his hair - he's too vain! Maybe he's worried if he grows it all the fans'll start liking me better! The press keep saying he should go solo, but he loves being with the five of us. He's very levelheaded and he's 110% committed to Westlife. This year, he'll buy a few more horses and add to his watch collection! And he'll be the Godfather of Bryan's baby. Bry put our names in a hat and Shane won!" - Nicky

2003 FOR KIAN

"Kian's so involved with the band - he surprise me all the time 'cause he's got to know this business amazingly well. He's involved with the business side of it all and always in communication with the label. The more we go on, he has a great way of putting things together. But we all take decisions as a band. Next year, I reckon Kian'll stress out from thousands of phone calls a day and organising things backstage!" - Mark

2003 FOR MARK

"He's really come into his own in the last six months. At first people thought he was just making up numbers, but he's got this amazing voice and he loves pop. He doesn't want to be someone who's a great singer but has to stand there with his shirt tucked into his trousers. And it's great Louis got Girls Aloud - it's good for Mark and Kian to have some girls to party with! I'm sure they'll get the numbers of the single girls!" - Bryan

2003 FOR NICKY

"One thing I can say for sure is that Nicky'll definitely be changing his hair. He can't stick with a style more than a couple of months - he's looking through mags to decide how to have it next. I think he's going to grow it. He's still with Georgina - it'll be their ninth year together! But there are no plans for wedding bells or more Westlife babies just yet! If it happens, but we're not planning that." - Shane
